Terms of engagement
These terms apply to use of this website and to advisory engagements with File Meadowpath (Pty) Ltd.
Acceptance
By browsing this site or confirming a written engagement brief, you accept these terms. If you engage us on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you are authorised to do so.
Services
We provide human-delivered secure file-sharing process design and related advisory work as described in an agreed brief. Website rate tables are informational guides only and do not form a binding offer until confirmed in writing.
Intellectual property
Process packs, maps, and briefing materials we create for you become available for your internal use under the engagement. File Meadowpath retains ownership of underlying methods, templates, and prior know-how. You may not resell our materials as a competing advisory product.
Client responsibilities
You remain responsible for decisions about technology vendors, legal compliance, and implementation inside your organisation. You must provide accurate information during discovery and obtain any internal approvals required for interviews.
Liability
To the extent permitted by South African law, our aggregate liability arising from an engagement is limited to the fees paid for that engagement. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including loss of profit or data, except where liability cannot lawfully be limited.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Courts with jurisdiction in the Western Cape shall hear disputes, without limiting any non-excludable consumer protections that may apply.
